How to Delete Your ApplyOrSkip Account
You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. There is no self-serve deletion button at the moment — we handle these requests manually to confirm your identity before making any permanent changes.
What gets deleted
When we process your deletion request, we remove:
- Your account and login credentials
- Any saved resumes
- Your analysis history and saved results
- Your subscription record (if applicable)
What may be retained temporarily
Some information may remain in secure backups or system logs for a limited period after deletion. This is standard practice for security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. It is not accessible for normal use and is purged on a regular cycle.
If you have an active paid subscription, we recommend cancelling it before requesting account deletion to avoid any unintended charges. See: How to cancel your subscription.
How to request deletion
To request account deletion, email us at hello@applyorskip.com with the subject line “Account deletion request” and include the email address associated with your account.
To protect your account, we may need to verify your identity before processing the request. Once confirmed, we will handle the deletion and notify you of the outcome.
Changed your mind?
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you just want a break, you can simply stop using the service — your account will remain available whenever you return.
